Today I am reviewing
Tesco Value Potato Salad and Coleslaw.
Its surprisingly hard to find coleslaw and potato salad without dairy, however if you are willing to part with a whole 60p you can buy both of these!
What is it?
Coleslaw: cabbage carrot and onion in mayo
Potato salad: potato and herbs in mayo
Coleslaw Ingredients:

Both Free from:
Dairy
Gluten
Meat
Soya (as far as I can see)
Thus both suitable for:
Vegetarians
Coeliacs
Allergy/intolerance sufferers
Looks like:
Coleslaw: standard coleslaw, not particularly thick mayo but with respect it only costs 25p
Potato salad: similarly standard potato salad, good proportion of visible herbs.
Smells like:
Both surprisingly creamy smelling.
Potato salad: oniony.
Tastes like:
Both very yummy.
Not at all as cheap and nasty as you may expect.
Coleslaw: good mix of veg although cabbage is dominant.
Mayo surprisingly creamy.
Potato salad: potato is quite well cooked and not near as raw as I had feared.
Mayo again is surprisingly creamy.
Price:
£0.25 for coleslaw
£0.35 for potato salad
Conclusion:
These are not going to be as lovely as what you could make yourself but straight from the supermarket at such a very low price I really do not think you can beat these.
4/5 – cheap and tasty.
Oh a dairy free coleslaw to try thanks for sharing. Not a lover of potato salad sorry.
