Today I am reviewing:
Ilumi Singapore Style Rice Noodle Pots.
I picked one of these up in Asda because I was needing a quick gluten-free lunch.
What is it?
Add water, wait 4mins, stir, eat.
Rice Noodles 70% [Rice Flour, Tapioca Starch], Maltodextrin, Dried Vegetables (5%) (Carrot, Spring Onion, Red Onion, Peas), Flavourings (contain Celery), Potato Starch, Sugar, Curry Powder (1.4%) [Coriander, Turmeric, Salt, Pimento, Ginger, Fenugreek, Garlic Powder, Pepper, Cumin, Red Pepper, Bay], Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt, Chinese Five Spice [Salt, Star Anise, Onion Powder, Sugar, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Ginger, Fennel, Clove, Garlic Powder], Chilli Powder, Dried Coriander, Mushroom Powder, Colour (Curcumin). Plentiful quantities of finely chopped veg (plump up nicely with water)
Yellowy curry sauce
A mild gingery curry
A mild gingery curry…
…but a really, really, REALLY yummy one.
Good amount of plumped up veg
£1.29 in Asda
I absolutely LOVED these noodles.
I’ve paid good money in restaurants for a lot worse.
5/5 – yum.
