Today I am reviewing:
Asda Belgian Chocolate, Cranberry and Orange Tiffin.
As regular readers will know I do love a nice slice of Free From Tiffin I was therefore terribly excited when I spotted these little beauties winking seductively from the Free From aisle of Asda.
What is it?
Chocolatey squares with biscuit and fruit
Ingredients:
Free From:
Dairy
Gluten
Wheat
Egg
Honey
Coconut
Meat
Thus suitable for:
Vegans
Vegetarians
Coeliacs
Allergy / intolerance sufferers
Looks like:
Good chocolate colour
Very visible fruit and biscuit
Pretty sprinkling of red cranberry sugar over top
Smells like:
Chocolate & orange
Christmas (waves arms and makes an excited “squeeeee” sound)
Tastes like:
The cranberry sugar hits straight away giving a sharp yet pleasing TING to your taste buds.
This mellows to a sweeter candified twang as the surprisingly rich chocolate reaches you.
The biscuit is crunchy and tasty
The fruit is plump, juicy and in plentiful supply without overpowering the chocolate.
Delicious.
Price:
£2
Conclusion:
Asda has excelled here.
I absolutely loved this tiffin.
By far one of the best seasonal products I have tasted.
5/5 – Tiffin’ lovely.
