Genius Crumpets
I have mentioned my lust for these before so I figured it was time for review. I will start by saying I love these little beasts, I’ve tried supermarket own brand freefrom crumpets and they are often too tough and chewy or so soft that you have to toast them for half an hour for them to resemble a crumpet. These are just perfect.

What are they?
Crumpets
Carb heaven
Lovely with jam or just a  dairy-free spread

Free from:
Dairy
Wheat
Gluten
Meat

Thus suitable for:
Vegetarians
Coeliacs
A range of allergy/intolerance sufferers

Packaging:
Orange Genius sticker on vacuumed plastic
I have neglected to photograph it 😦

Look like:
Crumpets, yup there is no denying it.
Quite big
Good amount of bubbling in the dough

Smell like:
Dough
Whatever you put on them

Feel like:
Springy
Quite soft but won’t fall apart unless you abuse them

Taste like:
Yummy
Everything you want in a crumpet

Cost:
£2 in Tesco and Sainsburys. £1.69 in Asda last week.

Conclusion:
I like them.
Hubbypants likes them.
Toddlerini likes them.
My cat even eyes them up.
They really are lovely, why haven’t you bought them yet? 😉

5/5
